Former paper factory grounds

We cleaned and reshaped a channel on the grounds of a former paper factory. We repaired the banks and slopes, adjusted the levels, laid geotextile and lined the bed with stones and gravel. Around the channel, we laid turf and added planting. The hardest part was operating a long-reach excavator through narrow passages beside old protected buildings. We had to reach and clean the channel, then rebuild its banks while preserving the character of the grounds.
